Furniture Designer
Our team is in need of a creative Furniture Designer to conceptualize and design furniture pieces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. You will work closely with our craftsmen to develop sketches, renderings, and specifications for new furniture designs that align with market trends and customer preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize woodworking, upholstery, and finishing techniques to create high-quality furniture pieces
- Collaborate with designers and clients to bring custom furniture designs to life
- Manage production schedules, resources, and quality control measures
- Ensure that safety protocols and manufacturing standards are upheld at all times
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and optimize productivity
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of furniture design principles, materials, and construction techniques
- Excellent craftsmanship skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
